Today was a beautiful day for my daily run. Shorts on Thanksgiving. A nice 5 mile run in the mid 60s with a slight wind. I built up a nice appetite for my turkey dinner that I waited four hours in a food bank line to get.
There were very few people out to encounter during the run. They had already flown, drove, and taken trains to family gatherings all around this country. And now they were all inside watching lots of football, getting drunk, throwing up, stuffing their faces, throwing up some more, passing the stuffing, passing the bean casserole, passing the 'rona. It's what Thanksgiving is all about.
Hey American Covidiots--you could have stayed at home and done the same thing!!
