Today I filled up my gas tank for the first time in 2021. The last time I was at a gas station was December 27. That's 72 days. Price of gas in December was $ 2.099. Today it cost me $ 2.629. Quite the difference.
This was not a record however. On March 12, 2020, I filled up my tank as usual not knowing that the next day most of New Jersey would be locking down. The next time I gassed up was June 2. 82 days.

Who is this guy Mac?
Mack is a generic term used to address a person whose identity is unknown. Used quite frequently in the old black and white movies of the 30s and 40s, especially the Warner Bros. flicks. Another generic term is "Chief' which I know our father used at least one time.
