Q: Before his encounters with Jackie Robinson and the Brooklyn Dodgers, Branch Rickey was the manager of the St. Louis Cardinals in the 1920's.  He was a deeply religious man and would never play nor manage on a Sunday.  On those days, one of his outfielders would take the reins.  He became known as the "Sunday Manager".  He later became a full time manager--with the Brooklyn Dodgers as Robinson's first full time manager.  Who was this outfielder?
