My suspicions about there being more to my car problem than just a simple battery replacement proved to be real. During some of my test runs, the car again stalled out. An appointment was made to go to the dealer and it was discovered that a faulty alternator was the culprit. The original TrueStart battery was probably still good; it just needed to be charged. So a new alternator was installed as well as some other much needed maintenance. The car is as good as new and it's ready for another 100K (see post of 10/24/2020).
The work was going to take a while, so I took their shuttle home and then another back to the dealer. So because I was in a vehicle with two different drivers (first time I was in a car with anyone in a year) and the mechanic was in and out of my car, I am starting Self Isolation #4. The one from the guy who jumped my car is now at 13 days.
